What would you say to a technology community?

I created one a few days ago, I'd like some people to get involved in it. I don't want it to be too jargon-filled, but some people with a solid knowledge would help.

From a logical standpoint, PC is by far the best platform for gaming.

PCs are much less proprietary than other platforms. If wanted, one can upgrade a PC relatively cheaply to increase the graphics or speed of a game, enhancing the player's experience.

Games for PC are consistently more complex and deeper than games for other consoles. PCs, with sufficient components, can handle a game that is many times more complex and immersive than games of other platforms.

Technology is constantly changing, and with these changes, newer and newer game platforms have come and gone. With these highly secretive, restrictive, and proprietary platforms such as the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii in the current generation, one can only play new games until another generation of platforms is unveiled. Once this happens virtually all innovation and support for previous platforms stops and the player must buy a new $200-$600 system, which will only be good until a bigger, better one is created. With a PC, and relatively low-level skills, one can play a generation of games his PC is built for, and once the technology surpasses his components, he can upgrade certain parts of his system pretty inexpensively, essentially indefinitely.
